People in DR Congo dress well every day. It is encouraged to respect them by dressing well as well. Please remember that the roads are all lava rock and very dusty, so make sure to bring comfortable shoes. It is culturally appropriate for women to dress modestly; women should always have their knees covered. Shorts and short skirts are not acceptable, however longer skirts and capri pants are appropriate. Women here usually wear skirts. The temperature here is temperate and often rainy, so remember to bring some warm clothes.
