HEAL Africa's medical mission covers a great many areas. We will gradually add information about our needs and goals, here, as it arises. There isn't much yet, so for now we will simply list reports below that have come in from the field
Burns Report (September, 2008)

I believe HEAL Africa needs a change of paradigm in burns treatment. Needs are immediate, the major being:
* ZIMMER Skin Graft Mesher #7701 …. [1 1/2 : 1 mesh]
* Dedicated Burns treatment ROOM with water and anaesthetic facilities
* Requests overseas for specific dressing resources such as XEROFORM, Combine, Bandages.
* Burns Creams eg Silver Sulfadiazine - a pharmaceutical logistic problem
Nursing Summary (April, 2008)
Steve Conrad wrote, “Emily [Conrad] put together a document that outlines a few things for nurses that are coming down to Goma. I think it’s a great start – will be helpful for any teams coming down. As teams come, we can continue building this.”
